MAVERICK is a pre-owned 2012 Hinckley Picnic Boat 37 MKIII — a Michael Peters-designed classic 37 Picnic Boat with Flag Blue Awlgrip topsides, a double cream bootstripe, and red bottom. Twin Volvo 300-hp D4 diesels drive Hamilton 274 jets with the upgraded JetStick II and a 7-inch hydraulic bow thruster. About 1,020 engine hours. Electronics were renewed in 2022–23 (Raymarine Axiom XL 19, ST-70 autopilot, 24-inch HD radar). Always stored in a heated building; aftercoolers replaced winter 2022/23. Currently in Portland, Maine.
